Do's and Don'ts in Lithuania

Do's

• If you are invited home, at any celebration, offer flowers. The Balts offer flowers for all occasions, event between men. They must be odd.

• When you go to the show, you must have a pair of shoes in your bag, you will have to change in the locker room

• For cars, the dipped beam is mandatory day and night from October to May

• Be punctual for appointments as Lithuanians tend to value each other's time.

Don'ts

• Give a girl an even number of flowers (an even number is only suitable for funerals)

• Do not throw in public places, you could be fined

• Whistling in a covered place, it brings bad luck

• Drinking alcohol on the street, you risk a fine
